Fire Protection District No. 8-B Proposition

Shall Fire Protection District No. 8-B of the Parish of Lafourche, State of Louisiana (the "District"), levy and collect annually for a period of ten (10) years, beginning with the year 2022, a fee of Seventy-Five Dollars ($75.00) on each lot, subdivided portion of ground or individual tract upon which is located, either in whole or in part, a residential or commercial structure, regardless of the structure's being occupied or unoccupied, and each improved portion of ground upon which a residential or commercial structure has been or may be situated and to which a mailing address has been assigned by a local governmental subdivision, a landowner, or a lessor (an estimated $27,675 reasonably expected at this time to be collected from the levy of the parcel fee for an entire year), for acquiring, constructing, maintaining and operating fire protection facilities and equipment and all purposes incidental thereto, including salaries of firemen, in accordance with La. R.S. 40:1505, as amended?
